PROBLEM IN Hydraulics international harvester 585

Does anybody knows how the hydraulics sestem works?when the hydraulics sestem has load i can not with draft control( right lever in the photo )take it up and it makes noise.when the hydraulics sestem has less load it does not take down normally(like steps) and makes noise.i take up and down the load with left control(randar) THANKS

I think I would get a manual and make sure all the adjustments are right before jumping into it much. Looks like there are quite a few.
