Problem starting

I just wondered if anyone had any advice /suggestions as to why my BX2350 wont start. The glow plug, battery light and oil lights all come on and there's also a ticking sound (fuel pump?) but when I turn the ignition key all the way - nothing! Not even an attempt at turning over. I don't think it's the battery as, as I say, it doesn't even attempt to turn over and the lights also all work. (I do have an immobiliser fitted which is a separate key and without this the glow plug, battery and oil lights don't come on at all.)
Any advice much appreciated.

Sounds like safety switches. Check your slow fast neutral lever, PTO and foot pedal. Each has one. I have had to adjust all mine over the 1100 hours usage on my BX. Oh thee will and can make you:confused2:

Like rlsmith said, Sounds like a safety switch issue. Even if things appear off move them out then back. Sometimes they are a little out of adjustment

I agree with the others; check all of those mentioned as mine has done that from time to time and going through all of them results in a start.

Now if that fails do a battery/connections check as you can have enough power to run your lights, but not enough to turn the starter over.

the others got it right.. simply moving 3 levers in/out may just be enough to get the thing to start.

The one that most frequently gets me is bumping the PTO engagement lever just off it's stop...

I had a positive battery cable go bad about 2 years ago on the BX. Cut off the molded clamp and installed a new one and my no start problem was solved.
