I have a bx2200 w\60" mmm that keeps comming off. I've had the tractor for 2 weeks now and mowed apprx. two acres twice. The first time I mowed, the mower deck came off twice. Both times the right rear mounting pin had come out somehow. Brought the tractor back to the dealer last Monday, explained what happened, said he has never heard of it happening before, but he would check it out. He kept the tractor all week, and of course, couldn't find anything wrong. Took it home yesterday evening, started mowing, and a acre and half later the deck dropped on right side again. The ground wasn't real rough, no dipps, slight incline. If anybody has an ideal what's causing the rear pin to come out I would sure appreaciate it.

This happended to me once, I found that the pin was not full engaging in the hole. I cleaned out the hole so that it did not "grip" the pin and never had another problem. J

Could you explain what you mean by "grip the pin". I have checked and made sure the pin was seated against the mount hole and was sticking out the other side. I have even tapped both mounting pins with a hammer to make sure they were seated. On my bx2200 the pins only protrude about 1\8".

There was a burr in the hole or maybe it was paint but the pin fit tightly in the hole and I felt it was being worked outward by the tight fit rather than riding loosely in the hole. Perhaps you should grease the pins, I always grease mine and if it continues to be a problem maybe lockwire it till it learns to stay put. Does your pin fit loosely in the hole or do you have to push it through? I had to push mine through so I reamed it with--well--a reamer. Emory cloth might do as well for a quick polish. Is your mower vibrating? Mine is very smooth. Remembering back this happened twice, not once and both times it was in a rough area when I first got the BX. The problem seems to have gone away now. I suggest you not get to worried and just continue to use your machine. J
