Problems with mounting hay monitor

I got a pair of 1" 2 price shaft collars similar to the photo and used longer bolts to go through the monitor bracket. I mounted them on the rail to the right of the console.

Mine is set up that same way on right handrail. The thin piece of sheet metal fits snug into the plastic bracket on back on the monitor and doesn't shake around.You may wont to cut a small strip of some kinda rubber to put under the U-Bolts so doesn't scratch your handrail if that kinda thing bothers you.They also make a suction cup backet can put on the window but I have heard they come un-stuck when bouncing around a lot but that's just what have heard,so never have used mine that come with baler...

I dipped the ubolts in the liquid rubber can you can buy to redo handles on tools. Works great and wraps completely around the ubolts

I built mine with just stuff found in shed,I couldn't tell you what that bracket was originally for. I could have cut the one side off but this was just put together one evening when I got tired of the monitor laying where ever could get it to set and never could get it to set still. Anyways once you slid it down onto bracket it sets tight and doesn't move,it don't wobble around or shake. I guess was just going with functionality and not looks,I am sure could clean it up but wasn't really worried about it scratching the old Kubota hand rail.

Hope the pics help,just FYI I have been baling with my NH and it has a console on the side it sets on,I haven't taken the bracket off the Kubota in case needed to use it to bale with,so I just ran down to the hay trap to get some pictures since got PM asking.
