Recently purchased a DK35 and it has 480 hrs. Previous owner indicates all maintenance was done at the dealer, but the best I can find out from the dealer,,all that has ever really been done is changing engine oil.... For now, I would like to change the Hyd filter and Fuel Filter. I went through the operators manual and have searched the forum for a procedure that outlines how to change these but so far haven't got a good detailed procedure for either. Any suggestions or tips..........Thanks..

I have a CK30hst that might be a little different than yours. If the Hydraulic oil hasn't been changed and you're at @480 hours, I think this would be a good time. Mine is fairly simple with pulling three drain plugs. One main in the sump area and two in the rear axle at each end. My owners manual showed all the drain points. My filter is a spin on type. My first drain had many little pieces of metal shavings coming out the main drain. The drain plug has a magnet which held most of them.
My fuel filter unit might be different but most have a spring to hold the filter in it's place. I wish I could be of more help but I'm not familiar with the DK35. I'm sure one of the members here can help you better.

Got ready to change the Hydraulic oil filter on my Dk35, but found out my filter wrench would not fit. A couple of things might be the problem. 1. There is a line just in front of the filter that doesn't allow to get the Band of the wrench past. 2, it seems like it is slightly bigger than my filter, but can't tell for sure. The replacement filter will fit the filter wrench....
Anybody have experience with this problem,,,and what a solution might be??

The OEM filters on my CK were tight as a (insert favorite dirty expression here) son of a gun.

Very tight. I may have even collapsed the filter to remove it. Be sure you have a wrench that fits the filter before you dump the fluid so that you don't get stuck with a dead machine.

I used a universal clamping type wrench instead of the monster socket type filter wrench.

I am now at 397 hours and am looking at my second Hydro fluid change out here at 400. The hardest part is holding the 5 gallon jugs up while the funnel fils the trans.

The worst experience I had with my DK35 was changing the Hyd filter. It's hard to get at with the lines in the way, and I found that it looked like it had been installed before the frame was powder coated. It just didn't want to come off. After a lot of different attempts I found that if you buy a plumbers chain wrench it will remove the filter. It can get around the lines and will do a good job for you. Even with this wrench, it comes off very hard the first time.

The second third and fourth time are just fine to remove the filter. I tend to agree that either they have a jethro tightening the filters in Korea or they paint them on.

They're not cheap filters on the CK and they are very much located in harm's way.

My JD had a steel plate that protected the hyd filter and had to be removed when changing the filter. It was an easy job to remove the plate and well worth the little bit of extra effort for the protection that it provided. To bad those sharp Kioti engineers don't have the same setup for our tractors.
