Can someone build one? It's kinda like some rusted plumbing I replaced recently. Same general idea, after a design by M.C. Escher.

You did good.

Did you work out the design with Legos first?

I saw that weld project just after finishing a nightmare plumbing project at the ranch, a 'perfect storm' where a water heater was installed in a tiny tin shack that was spaced 8 inches away from the house. Everything crumbling and plugged up with rust, plus an inlet valve that wouldn't shut off and was too close to the wall to unscrew and replace. No space to work or even to get my head in to see what was what. I had to hacksaw the pipes upstream of the valve, cut threads on replacements because of tight clearances and odd pipe lengths, and redesign the layout to put the new valve out where it could be replaced without sawing the pipes in the future.

That original plumbing layout was engineered by M. C. Escher, I swear.

But I got it done myself for $700 including the water heater and wages to a helper, compared to the $1800 plumber's bid.

One should put on an auto-darkening hood before even looking at that thing.:confused2:
