Hello all,
The left side wedge had popped out a couple of times on me, I adjusted the wedge plate a re tightened and it seemed good. Today I noticed that the left side release handle ( the one you use to remove the fel) seemed to be rattling around a little so I investigated and found that the rotating ear (connected to the end of the release arm) at the front of the tractor is not fully seated in position, it appears that the bracket the ear fits to, is to far forward on the machine, I see that there are two bolts that use elongated holes on the vertical support, if i adjust these it should bring the bracket the ear fits to into position ( it will move the bracket towards the rear of the machine and allow the ear to properly engage). Is this correct ? is there anything else I should check after making this adjustment? Obviously it needs to be adjusted but I am concerned that I could possible adjust it and end up with the FEL not being squared up with the tractor.
