LS R4041
My owners manual for a new LS R4041 does not even have my tire size listed for tires and load capacity.Front is: 12-16.5 6PR Rear is:17.5L-24 6PR . Forum threads seem to consistently recommend max inflation on front tires with FEL installed. OEM tires are Titan. Titan website worksheet format for loading/inflation does not allow input of the tire sizes as stated. Has anyone been able to get their dealer to give a recommended standard tire air pressure for front and/or rear. I don't believe the rear should exceed 23 because the operators manual for the R4041/R4047 does list that as the standard with a 6PR for the tire sizes that it DOES list. I don't want to under inflate and run a tire off the rim. Any help or link to charts from LS or Titan will be appreciated.

I have always inflated tractor tires to the Max number on the sidewall, assuming loader and dirt work use with R4 tires.

The rears, I inflate just enough that I get a full width of tread bars in contact with the ground and the sidewalls have a slight bulge as they roll. Front, I inflate to about 5 PSI below maximum listed inflation pressure on the side walls so I don't have to worry about rolling one off when using the FEL. As long as you don't exceed the max inflation pressures, you aren't going to hurt anything on the tractor. Too high of pressure will hurt your traction a bit.

Thanks. That seems like a good approach until I have more experience with the handling of the tractor.

Thanks. I'll try to set up the rears on concrete so there is a solid ,flat surface . I appreciate the response since my experience is limited. It is easy to make a mistake that will result in a "Kodak moment" if you don't ask.

It's good to ask -- seems common for a lot of people to neglect tire pressure and then have a tire roll off the rim.
