Proper strength of Electric Trailer Brakes

I know TSC carries axles with electric hubs, and also replacement hubs of some sizes, as well as magnet replacements, etc... Might check there.

I wonder what kind of electric brake controller his truck is using?

I noticed on my GMC Yukon, it came with the pigtail and fuse to just wire in my brake controller, but one annoying thing was that the 7 to 6 adapter comes from the factory wired incorrectly for electric brakes.. the hot and switched hot wires are reversed! and they know it, because it is disasembleable, and those two wires are on quick change plugs..... wish they would note that somewhere.. or just make it the right way... since it won't interfere with lights on a non brake equipped trailer...

I had a Pinto that we used to do that in. Punch the clutch as you raise up on the park brake. As it started to slide, let off the park brake, sliding the hand up to the shifter to catch another gear, as you were getting ready to release the clutch, all the while working the steering wheel. It was fun! But, there were not any people around like these days. It was pretty rural, and you could do that kinda stuff withough endangering someone else...

The master cylinder went out on my Road Runner years ago. Actually, just the front brake circuit went out... I drove it home, but it was hairy. Even though I left plenty of room to stop, people would pull in to all that room I left.

Riding motorcycles and all, they figure the front brakes are something along the lines of 80% of the braking force if I remember right...
