I'm looking at an open station MF4707 with an FL3615 loader. Is a downward/forward exhaust a good option?
My initial thoughts are biased by my more recent years of experience on the Kubota L4600 with its exhaust down low by the nose of the tractor. I have been unable to find any pictures online that show this detail and the only 47xx series tractors around me are cab models with upright exhausts. The suggested cost savings of $49 is insignificant to me on a purchase like this as it is most important to get the "right" tractor, not the cheaper one!
I'm thinking the low exhaust is good for sightlines whether or not the loader is mounted. I also can see some benefit by not getting snagged with low hanging limbs near fence lines though that won't help avoid getting SWATTED by the same limb! Is rain even a factor for one versus the other? What am I overlooking?
And, if anyone has a good picture or a link to one with the MF47xx with the low/horizontal exhaust, I'd really appreciate it!
TIA,
Sid
