Protection for XUV

I got a couple accessories put on my XUV this weekend. First is a rear bumper with rear mud flaps and second is a top brush deflector for the top lights on the ops roof.................camera batts. are dead so I could not post pics at this time....................looks cool though and will add to the other protection items already on my machine........................Roger

The bumper is a piece of "L" channel that I fabbed and made some mounts for; I installed a treated 2x4 on the outer bumper side and painted flat black. The light protector is 3/4 conduit painted od green and is through bolted to the rops on the inside of the cab..................may not look to professional, but a heck of a lot cheaper than 200 bucks for a bumper and a whole lot more functional. Besides when I wear out the wood on the bumper from backing into stuff, I can simply replace the 2x4 and repaint again. I made it to where the bumper sticks out from the machine two inches on the rear and sides. Tree will have to have a big knothole to get to the machine now!!..............Like said earlier, I sacrificed on looks with this bumper, but it is solid and will take a lick.
