After more than a year of the screen behind the seat (the one mounted to the ROPS) rattiling, I finally come up with a solution. I had already tried taking off the screen and "tightening up" the u-shaped channel. This helped, but did not make the problem disapear.
I finally took a piece of 3/4" x 1 5/8" unistrut and mounted it to the rear of the screen, right in the middle.
The screen already had two hole large enought for the 3/8" bolts that I used, so I had to drill three more.
It took about 20 minutes, and the rattle is finally gone.
