Hello all, My 2310TLB was delivered a couple days ago and I love it. While I was deciding what to buy I read this forum a lot and picked up some great advice along the way. So thanks for all the great info. This is my first real tractor that was not a glorified lawn mower. I have wanted a real tractor for years, my only question is why did it take me so long to actually get one?? Probably had something to do with the Harley not being paid off yet... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Now for the question-I bought it without a MMM thinking I wouldn't be get much use out of it with all the trees I have to cut around. I changed my mind after I drove it around the property and saw how manueverable it is. The dealer was kind enough to get AGCO to roll the MMM into the financing so I just need to know how hard it is to install and whether its worth it to have the dealer do it for me or do it myself. Has anybody installed a MMM on a 2310 after they bought it? Thanks.

Did you consider a RFM? I had a MMM on my B9200 and the mower used the 3pt for raising and lowering. Needless to say, anytime I wanted to use a 3pt implement, I had to take the mower off.

IMO, the RFM is much easier to deal with, my $0.02!

The MMM is the hardest to attach BUT it takes about 10 min.

The MMM is best to mow around trees with makes for less trimming.
I am very happy with my GC 2310 and I think you will be very happy with yours.

The MMM, in for my three cents, is a pain to switch out when I need to use something else. Also the RFM is easier to work on (take it from someone who manages to "catch" something every summer in the blades and needs to replace the belt).

The RFM takes a little getting used to, and trees are a practice item. But once you get the hang of it it's fine.

Also I think you will find the RFM is cheaper then the MMM /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Again my three cents,

Thanks for the input guys, I have decided to go with the MMM. I used an RFM on a rented JD 4410 a couple weeks ago, can't say I was thrilled with it. The MMM seems to fit the bill for me, it is more expensive for sure but its less painless since I can finance it as part of the tractor purchase. The bonus is that its in stock! I will pick it up today or tomorrow and start cuttin away!

I prefer the MMM on my BX23.
I leave the Fel and BH and MMM on all the time.
If I were to switch to a RFM I would be constantly having to switch back and forth between the Mower and the Back Hoe.
I like the fact that I can mow use the back hoe or the FEL all three without ever having to switch implements.

I also have a 1966 Bolens 850 With a tiller on the back and a 1967 Bolens with a dirt/snow blade on the front.

With my set up I can use 5 different implements/ and never have to switch an attachment.
