Hello,
Thought I'd take the time to introduce myself. I'm Luke, and I'm a cetane junky! This is my first tractor, but my 7th diesel "vehicle". I've owned and tinkered on my old 93 Ford 7.3L IDI, 85 Mercedes 300D, currently 2 1st gen Dodge Cummins (89 and 93), recently an 86 Chevy 6.2L M1031, and my untinkered 09 VW TDi. I additionally have an old ZB600C Kubota 2 cylinder from my dads old reefer unit that has over 4000hrs without rebuild. It sat in the weather for 15 years after its last use before I wrestled it down, glowed the plugs and fired her right up again! Still looking for a decent application for it to drive!
Just bought a 1980 (year?) Kubota B8200 4x4 with manual transmission. It has a 50" loader and an old Bolens woods style backhoe on the 3 pt hitch. I got it off auction from the Park nearby who has owned it for 19 years. They all bragged that they have beat it so long that it was obvious it was never going to break. She's loose in a few areas, and I'm unsure about a few others, but hopefully I can find the info on here to get her operating around the house/shop smoothly. Look forward to hearing tips and input. Take care.
-Luke
