Brought this beauty home this weekend after my uncle gave it to me. He planned to leave it to me when he died, but he decided to go ahead and let me have it so he could enjoy watching me enjoy it. I spent a few hours with a gallon of degreaser and the pressure washer and got a little shine back to it. It was painted about 15 years ago, but has been mostly collecting dust in the barn since then.
It's complete and has no major issues, but it needs a little attention on some things before it's parade ready. It was only running on 1 cylinder, but fresh plugs and setting the points fixed that. Next issue is the oil pressure gauge is reading high. Pegs out at any RPM above idle. It has fresh oil and filter and the old oil was not extremely dirty or sludgy. My next step is to try a new gauge. Not sure i trust a 72 year old oil pressure gauge.
Beyond that, it just needs a little paint detail and a few things tightened up and it will be pulling hayrides every chance I get.
He also gave me a old JD hay wagon -- although it's just a frame at the moment. After some TLC, some green paint, and a new wooden flatbed, it will pair nicely behind the B.

If you run it in parades, or other public venues, be sure that you have off property liability insurance, or you risk loosing your house.

Solid advice. I appreciate the reminder!

I'm envious and you, GreenYellow, are a lucky guy. Love to hear those two cylinders working away.
Cheers,
Mike

Thank you, Mike. I certainly am fortunate to have the relationship with my uncle that I do. And yes, I agree -- it's some nice therapy to just sit and listen to it slow idle. Thump.........Thump.........Thump.........Thump.........Thump......
