Well I finally crossed over to the dark side and bought me a "toy" tractor.(Atleast that is how it looks next to my 175).

Now I need to locate a headlight switch, front emblem and does anyone have a list of finish mowers that work on these counterclockwise pto's? Thanks in advance.

Woods had made them, my parent's neighbor still has one they use occasionally. I have a Woods rotary mower I'd love to unload, but obviously it's not suitable for cutting your lawn.

Can't help you on the headlight switch or emblem. I found the lights nearly useless with the loader and have spent much time tryng to figure out how I could reintroduce lighting to it when I have both loader and backhoe on it.

I kinda figured the headlights would be useless but I would still like to have them working just because stuff not working bothers me.:confused2:

Do you happen to know what number the woods finish mowers were? Does anyone still make CCW equipment?

I'm not aware of anybody doing so. I think RM48 was the model for both CCW and CW. I believe the difference between them other than the PTO shaft was the spindles which used a left hand thread to hold the blades on and different blades. Some Kubota tractors used a CCW PTO though with a different spline count.

Post up in teh wanted section, maybe somebody here has one.

I've gotten used to not having headlights on it though I'd really like to rig them again so that I might use the tractor after dark. I've figured out how I want to revamp the snow plow on the loader which would make it useful rather than a hassle. But since snow often comes at night, lights are required.

Those mowers come around now and then. You'll have to really look for them here, ebay, craigslist, dealers etc. They are built tough but you can't run them very fast.

they make a kit to convert those ccw pto to cw dont they?

Once upon a time they did. If you know of one, post up a liink to it I'm sure at least one person here would not mind buying it. Until buying my Deere I would have numbered among them.

I have a Woods 48" reverse finish mower for sale. It is in its work clothes. I also put together reverse gear boxes with a standard output shaft.

lens how much are your PTO reversers with the standard shaft? Can they be taken off and on so I can still use my satoh reverse tiller?

Also do you have a headlight switch, glow plug indicator and front emblem for a beaver? Thanks
