The buy it price is very low (9,500) for a unit of this size.

Just Sedgewood's luck. He works all summer rebuilding his and then this comes up.
The Buy Now price certainly looks reasonable, but the machine is old enough that it does not appear to have the quick attach system. I don't know what other differences there might have been. Calls to Don and Terry at PT might be in order.
Some time ago, there were posts about converting an older machine to the quick attach system. Unfortunately, if you converted the 1845, you'd also have to convert the mower.
I think the 84" is generally offered now on the 1850, which has 20 more hp. I haven't any idea how much more power the 84" requires than my 72".
It will be interesting to see what this sells for. Anyone on the board interested?

Spoke to Terry. About $600 in parts to add quick attach. About $500 for the mower. Can't remember if that included the attachment plate.
If you don't want to add the quick attach, they can make any attacment fit the 3 pin for about an extra $100.

This naive country bumpkin went surfing, clicked on the Buy-It-Now button on the eBay listing to see how that feature works and, well, now I know. The auction is over - no you can't retrieve your click - go pay the seller. My reaction might be compared to a nice big PT pucker. You know; the kind where you have trouble getting your mouth to close again. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
In spite of the trouble I've caused him, the seller has kindly let me off the hook for the price of a relisting fee and a humble apology. The listing should be back up soon.
And I extend a humble apology to the inconvenienced bidders too.
