Pt-422 issues...again

Ok so, it was indeed the starter which was the source of our problem however now we have a new one, when trying to place in the engine, a piece of the love joy coupling or spider jaw coupling the black either rubber or the plastic thing that goes in between the spindles of the engine to the other part, came out, can't find the rest of it, so it seems to of sheared off somewhere, and we don't have a part number for it maybe you guys can help us out, the specifics of the power trac is below, if there is any other information you guys need let me know.

Ok so found a peice on it that said L-100, then another that had 099, does that mean it's a L099 / L100 spider jaw then? i don't want to get the wrong part.

Take a look at the pdf found at this link for more details on the L100:

From what I remember, you do have L100 couplers, and just need the spider (black) that goes with them. I think this might be it, but you should check to be sure:

Yeah, maybe a buck or two... but if you are a Prime member you get free 2-day shipping on that Amazon link.

The one Ebay link I found ended up being twice as much after shipping, an even the other Amazon deal (non-Prime) was cheaper. Plus easy returns if needed.

so we ordered a new spider thing, and let me tell you the tractor runs better than ever now, we also removed and cleaned the throttle thingy, and now the tractor is running great thank you everyone, but we have now run into another issue, is there a site where you can order parts for the pt-422? we need a female coupling for one of our hoses, as the original got crushed and we never ordered a new one.

As PT (and maybe the previous owner) used all sorts of connectors, can you get the numbers and manufacturer off the old part? It usually is around the collar. There are a number of sources and cross matches and you might be able to find locally.
