PT maintenance log

I remember being on KentT website and there were maintenance logs for the 180 and the 425. Now the links no longer work. Does anyone have these links?

Unfortunately, Bill Croasman created those logs, and they never got uploaded to my site -- so they were linked to his personal web space. So, I can't help you...

I need to close my whole site down, since it really isn't being used nor maintained...

Still quite active, for that niche audience.

Serves up about 1.8 million pages a year, keeping it on the first page of most search engines. Stays between 4000 - 5000 registered users, since we keep the inactive ones cleaned out pretty well...

It has spawned an independent "virtual club" that fluctuates at about 750 dues-paying members.

Good for you! My old late 60's Yoeman finally bit the big one. I did not want to mess with it anymore after I got the PT. I used your website to look up its history and such. Good site with a loyal following. :thumbsup:

Moss, because you say it is a good site it saddens me to hear Kent want to close down the power trac site. I bet it could be as good if we used it. Of course I haven't been on it for a few months so who am I to talk:ashamed:

Well.... it is like this... Kent's Simplicity website captured a niche for Simplicity tractors. Muhammad's TBN website captured a niche for compact tractors. The two probably do not compete to harshly with each other.

I, besides being a Power Trac owner and loyal TBN member, am also a TBN moderator. A few guys talking about a unique articulated machine has turned into a very strong gathering of the minds here on TBN in the form of the Power Trac forum. When it comes to talking about Power Tracs, my loyalties lie with TBN. If I wanted to pursue information about my Simplicity, I would be over on Kent's website. I value Kent's friendly conversation, experience and advice. He is a class act. :thumbsup:

Moss I adree with your statements. i think KentT site couldn't compete with TBN in the forums section but there was a lot more there than that. Such as the resource section which of course was the original reason I started this thread.

So I guess I am saying that if we used it we could have a great resource site without searching through pages and pages here at TBN to find that one post in a thread that was started with an unrelated topic. It is just a shame, that is all I am saying.
