Talked to PT this weekend. The thing I seen from the air is a plant expansion and a 1000 ft flood wall around the back of the plant. Expansion is 33,000 sq ft production building to expand welding, fabrication, machine shop and assembly. It seems production is having a hard time keeping up with sales, a good problem to have!
A 70,000 sq ft warehouse is planned on the property across the street in the next 2 to 3 years.
The flood wall should help since PT's plant has been flooded some, twice in the last 3 years. Although those were only inches and did not get up into the finished PT's and parts were raised to high shelves, I understand some buildings and raw material recieved major damage. In both cases PT cleaned up and only lost one days production. Not bad!
I still think that when more people learn about PT's , they want be able to build them fast enough.
