Some time ago, I read about how many folks (myself included) use their FEL for a wheelbarrow to haul stuff to and from where they're working.
I recall that one person forgot that the stuff was in there & used the FEL, thereby consigning a small chainsaw and other stuff to the "scratch and dent" category.
At the the time, I thought, "How could someone do that?".
Last week, I loaded up my PT FEL, with a miter saw, nailgun, palm nailer, framing square, logging chains, chain saw, boxes of nails, hammers, skilsaw, extension cords, etc., etc.
Then, I USED THE FEL TO SCRAPE UP SOME DIRT AT THE WORKSITE BEFORE UNLOADING.
You might wonder, how dumb can a person be? Apparently, pretty dumb!
I wondered that same thing. Later in the same day, I DID IT AGAIN!
Now, I know that this could have nothing to do with the diminished brain function that is a natural part of being past 50 yrs. old, so, after much thought, I realized that IT'S THE TRACTOR MANUFACTURER'S FAULT!
Had they install a convex mirror (similar to the ones on a school bus front fender) on the bucket as any lawyer worth his fees would have recommended, this would not happen. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Today, it's finally funny! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
