hi i have an iseki tu1900f, when i run my flail mower it runs fine but when i come to stop and dip the clutch the tractor drives forward slightly even with the brakes on. some say i need an overun clutch some say the pto clutch needs adjusting, me i can see both views but dont know how or whether it is possible to adjust the pto clutch. i live in england! also has anyone a source of manuals for this model? its a grey import and my local dealer is not interested!

I would say you need an overrun clutch. The person to contact for a manual is

Leonard Sheaffer

Japanese Tractor Repair Dixon, IL

Len normally has manuals and parts.

You will always have some movement when changing gear if you don't wait until PTO stops turning. Your PTO on a tractor without a live PTO is directly connected to the transmission. You should always wait until the PTO stops turning before you shift gears. You could do some damage to the transmission someday by shifting while the PTO is still turning. i hop you understand. I have had tractors for over 40 yeasrs. i have had both Love PTO snf noty live. Live Pto is always the best but some tractors just don't come with live PTOs. Especially older ones.
