Pto cover cap

I need a cap to cover my pto when not i use. Any idea where I can find one? I have seen them before it is just a cap that screws into the back of the tractor.

Some tractors pto seal housing provides for some version of twist in or bolt on cover in that instance I would check with a dealer. A lot of those that don't just have a big rubber nipple on them that is the approx size of the pto shaft and just slides on. You can buy one of those from a Deere dealer for about $2, p/n lvu14781.

If it just the PTO shaft, what I did was get a piece of plastic hose from Lowes (I believe it was the 4in and the hose has reinforcement in it). Also got a plastic end cap from Lowes and glued it on to the of the plastic hose. It stays on there just great.

Our new bathroom shower mixer valve came with a plastic protector on the threaded shaft that just happened to fit perfectly over the PTO shaft. I hate to throw anything out.

Our local TSC has them on the rack, a few $$ . For some reason the web page wants me to lenghten my answer, humn don't know why this is happening??

Walmart sells all kinds of caps in the menswear section of the store. Now, if you want one for your tractor, perhaps you would be so kind as to tell us a little about the cap-less little beast. The brand, model, and year would be most helpful.
