I own a 2615 HST and I am interested in a PTO Generator. I am aware that Mahindra rates the PTO Hp at I believe 21.1. Now, I have read in several posts that Mahindra has in many cases underrates hp's on many of the Mitsubishi motors and I believe the 2615's was one of them. Consensus is around 3 hp under. If this is the case, what could/should I expect the PTO hp to be??? Approximately. I am looking at the 13K generator that Northern Tool carries, this is the link: NorthStar PTO Generator — 13,000 Watt, 24 HP Required |PTO Generators | Northern Tool + Equipment
Could I expect to run this generator without too much difficulty? For my needs, I figured I need around 10-11K but figure a little bigger would be helpful. Lastly, what is a reasonable amount of time that I could run the tractor at this load at the 540 PTO RPM. Would it be harmful to run it say, 1, 2 or even three days continuously? Sorry for the long post. Would appreciate any insite in this matter. Thanks in advance.
