PTO generator

I own a 2615 HST and I am interested in a PTO Generator. I am aware that Mahindra rates the PTO Hp at I believe 21.1. Now, I have read in several posts that Mahindra has in many cases underrates hp's on many of the Mitsubishi motors and I believe the 2615's was one of them. Consensus is around 3 hp under. If this is the case, what could/should I expect the PTO hp to be??? Approximately. Could I expect to run this generator without too much difficulty? For my needs, I figured I need around 10-11K but figure a little bigger would be helpful. Lastly, what is a reasonable amount of time that I could run the tractor at this load at the 540 PTO RPM. Would it be harmful to run it say, 1, 2 or even three days continuously? Sorry for the long post. Would appreciate any insite in this matter. Thanks in advance.

As long as you have oil in the engine coolant in the radiator and the radiator is clean this should not hurt your tractor. I would take the engine side covers off and watch your temperature guage for the first few hours.
As to the fact that your tractor will run it Mahindra only guarantees the advertised HP but most of them do produce more. Also the generator will only use all of that HP when you put a full load on it so for the most part the 2615 should run it fine.
Did the storm hit you? We had about 15" here in Batavia and lost a days work on Friday due to no power. I had to make a trip to Warsaw and they had nothing there.
