PTO problems

I have a 2615 Mahindra tractor. The PTO shaft is dropping out of the connection sleeve and I can not determine how it is happening.
It seems to happen when the tractor is facing uphill. When working with the front of the tractor below the rear, it seems works fine.
I have returned the shaft to its mooring once but it has somehow disengaged again. Considering placing a pin through the sleeve and the gear so that it cannot disengage.

It sounds as if you aren't fully engaging the coupler. When it is properly connected you should not be able to move the collar on the coupler without first disengaging it. Charlie is that you? Aching Back is right, it sounds like your implement is not fully locked in. You may want to put a little grease on your tractor PTO shaft and some WD on your implement coupler and work the pin or collar until it works freely. Then reattach shaft until you hear a click and can't pull the shaft off of PTO.
