OK, guys, please help... I recently bought a JD 2520 when my older small 316 's engine died. (recently moved and was cutting 6 Acres with it). I am currently in the process of modding my old 47" snowblower from my 316 to work on my new 2520. So far I have made a great mounting bracket for the snowblower to fit on my new tractor. I am now in the process of trying to figure out how to connnect to the mid PTO on my 2520. My first thought was that I would just take off the pulley from the driveshaft on the blower, put on a yoke and long driveshaft to the mid PTO. Now, the more I think about it, am I going to have problems with the speed of the PTO on the new tractor?? I thought it might be a little too fast, so I would be able to drop down the throttle if necessary. but, I guess it depends on the relationship of the pulleys on the old 316 and the snowblower. And I don't know the speed of the drive on the old 316 to start with!!! any help or thoughts would be greatly appriciated!! snow storm supposed to be coming here in PA!!
