I love a happy ending. Especially when it involves a tractor. Sounds like Bob deserves a cold one! Cheers! :drink:

Hey Cub5K,
How did you adjust the clutch, I was assuming Bob's suggestion referred to non CUT Cub's that had the PTO mounted on the front of the crank and exposed. Ours is (5252) front and mid and buried in the transaxle?
I did an original post about dash and PTO problems, I was too busy and sent this off to the Cub dealer. They were sure it was a dash that had overheated because of the failed muffler.
I mowed twice after the muffler and dash and loose throttle repair and on the third mowing, took a break, the PTO wouldn't engage. The PTO light was on with the PTO off and the hourmeter was out. I plugged the old dash in and nothing was working, plugged the new one back in, everything is back. I'll call the shop on Monday, but these problems are a nightmare.
I'll post as I make progress.
