I Just happened to notice this thread and for Ideas, here's a photo of the one I used on Max. It was a commercially built unit that I found in Canada several years ago. It can be front mounted as this one is, or rear mounted. I front mounted it so I didn't have to remove it to run the bush hog on the back in summer. The pto sprocket just runs on the backside of the chain so it drives the shaft to the blower in the opposite direction. As you can see, it's pretty simple unit and shouldn't be hard to fabricate. I like the simplicity of the reverse box for the PTO to drive a rear mount blower up front. It's cool. Didn't know it was that simple of a concept. I have a 3 point blower but never use it because it is not user friendly one bit. This has me thinking now. How many steady bearings do you have on the shaft from the rear to the front.
