Hi Gents,
I've replaced my shasher PTO shaft with a heavier duty one. The dealer explaind how to measure and cut it to size however after doing the measurements it fitted straight on.... So know I'm wondering if it's going to be short enough and I'm worried that if its not it could do damage. When it's retracted its about 2" off the PTO spindle on the tractor so I suppose that once it's locked in place it would be about 3-4" of allowable movement. I ran the tractor and did some test cutting and all appears to be working as it should... What's your thoughts and advice? Should I trim a couple of inches off to be sure? Thanks Jason
