So I bought it! But I need to trim it a little and thought I would make sure it was a good idea, before I cut it?
So what do you think?
Bob,
When i first hooked up my Jinma to my NH TC40DA I thought I might have a similar problem that you had.
The two adjustable bars that hold the lower 3ph pins on the chipper would hit a bolt head when trying to push the bars back far enough for the PTO shafts to have enough overlap. I should've taken the bars off and placed several extra washers at each of the bolts to act as spacers to clear the offending bolt head, but because I was in a hurry I just pried the bar back a little to clear the bolt head and pushed the adjustable mounting bars fully back.
Fixed the PTO shaft distance problem.

You may have already tried this and still needed the extra distance, but if not then you may have yourself an extra slip clutch available for other uses.
