I was chipping a 5-6" branch that some ant holes in it, otherwise I'd burn it. Anyway with about a foot or so left the roller dug a gouge into it and it wouldn't feed. Had a really hard time trying to get it pulled out so got it pulled back a few inches after disengaging the roller. The roller must have engaged again when engaging the PTO. Well the log caught one of the blades and jammed before the chipper got spinning. The PTO shaft twisted off as a result. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
How do you get the PTO shield off? Only took a quick look at it.
Also can you buy PTO shaft and just weld it back up again?
It twisted off real close to the knuckle on the tractor side.
