PTO spreader, New Holland renewal project

I have been offered a pto spreader pull behind. It is missing the moving chain floor, some holes have been eaten in the floor and it only has one beater bar in the back. will it work? Where do I find part? Is it worth $250.00 considering all the work it needs.
