pto wont engage

i have a 1999 new holland model 1925 rear pto stopped running when i was bush hogging mid and rear pto do not engage levers move fine

if it has the 9x3 trans i will be betting that the pto sprag clutch which is located in the rearend has went out i just got done replacing one on a 1715
