Puchase L-3130 FEL & Woods 7200 vs LandPride ??

I need help in deciding on a Rear Finish Mower for a L-3130. I am getting very close to a purchase on a New L-3130 with a 513, tooth bar, wide turfs and rear finish mower. I have been
reading and learning from all of you for months. I will be cutting 4 acres, clearing for a new 2 car garage and apartment building. Maintaining a 1250' of paved drive, tending a very large garden, clearing some woods, and possibly doing some perc's and septic systems. All of you have been a GREAT help. I started looking at 7800's & 2910's. For the money a L-3130 looks like the ticket. It may be a little overkill but what a machine !!! Knowing my wife will be using it the final approval came from her as she wheeled around on New L-3130. I am now trying to decide what RFM to get. I want a nice Finish /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif cut and rear discharge. Any suggestions ? I REALLY appreciate the discussions and value your input.

Nice tractor choice... My new L3130 is being built now...

You may want to give a good look and compare the Front loader... LA513 vs. LA723... the LA723 is quite a bit more loader... I learned that here and at the dealer... also check bucket choices... and the quick detach feature...

For a rear finish mower... many brands...
I went with the Woods RD7200... the Landpride is about the same... I feel the Woods is a little better constructed by observation... I like the rear-chain guard... and my Kubota dealer sells Woods... and his price is a $300 less than the closet other... so...

I also understand Woods makes the Deere Frontier rear mowers that cost hundreds more...

P.S...

Wide turf tires...
If you're talkin' about the Galaxy tires... be careful how far you turn... they'll come awfully close to contacting the machine... and might with the loader...

Dealer says only golf courses and such w/o front loaders get them... not a great choice for general purpose use... check out the R4's...

Wesman, if you're clearing land a 4 in 1 FEL really shines. A tooth bar digs AND rakes. Grading and filling depressions options go up. You can pick up stuff clam-shell like WITHOUT GETTING OFF the tractor.
Re Woods vs Landpride; Woods is flirting with bankruptcy which can't be good for quality. I have a Landpride tiller and horizontal cutter which are well made.
