I just bought what I believe to be a late 70's early 80's Pug 4x4 UTV. This machine is great for what I do with it. It has articulating steering , hyd dump bed , 2 foward gears & 1 reverse , 18 hp B&S engine (which I will be replacing with a Honda motor this winter) & centrifugle clutch both on the engine side & front axel/transmission. My problem is that both axels were made by HAXCO (holtan axel & transmissiom company) which went out of business in the early 80's. I cannot find any info on them or where to get parts.I do have a model# & serial# on both axels. The machine runs great and I have no problem with them now. But if something were to , then all I have is a pile of scrap metal. Hate to sell it . Best UTV I ever drove.

Hi, I just bought a Pug atv with the stationary "people carrier" bed. I want to make a hydraulic dump bed for it. If you or anyone has detailed pictures how I might frame a dump bed?

Have you replace the drive belt on your PUG yet? I was able to get the old one off which was quite worn but can't get the new one on around the front pulley. There just doesn't seem to be enough space between the frame and the pulley. Do you have a manual for your PUG? I've been looking and have only found one foe the two wheel drive utv.
I'm stuck until I get the drive belt installed. Any insights would be appreciated.
