Has anyone attempted to create a matrix that provides information of the engineering components for tractors?
That is to say, a worksheet that shows a given manufacturer's product line and the products that make it up.
Tractors can be broken down into:
1. Engines
2. Frames and Bodies
3. Drive Trains
4. All the Rest.
5. Assembled in _________.
Examples:
JD40Ten Series -
JD Frames made in ...
YanMar Engnies made in Osaka Japan
JD Drive Trains produced in Georgia USA
etc.
That would be a good piece of work (too much for me to take on) and EXTREMELY helpful to folks new to tractoring as well.
