It was my one year anniversary present to myself...:D

I will try to utilize it to scrape wild grass and weeds from areas around the house and deck so we can plant perennials, shrubs and then mulch the areas.
Eventually, if I can get the tractor up my back woods trail (need to build a better bridge over my drainage brook) I will use it to create a food plot for deer hunting.

Have drooled over this implement for years while reading and seeing the many tasks it can do...now it's my turn to see what I can do with it!

FEL, BH and RatchetRake. 3 best implements available for a tractor with the RR being the least expensive and able to be installed and uninstalled by one person within a minute (after a bit of experience).
I've tried most of the common implements and attachments and sold almost all of them except my RR which I've had for many years. I was one of the early buyers when they had to be bought factory direct from the factory that very few people knew about or had ever heard about.
Great implement for the home landscaper that may clean up some scrub areas and work up an area for seeding. I have done some scrub work but most of mine has been finishing up areas for grass seeding which I believe gives the RR the edge over the Pirinha which excels in being able to leave on all of the time since it doesn't have the down facing fine teeth which requires removing the RR if scooping with the bucket but goes on and off so quick and easy that it hasn't been a problem for me.
I agree that you'll never regret your purchase.

Here's what I did in about an hour with the Ratchet Rake...I even had it mounted upside down!:confused3:
Imagine how it's gonna work tomorrow now that it's mounted correctly!
Lots of manual labor shaking out and disposing of the "clumps" of sod, but the initial scraping was easy peasy from the BX's seat!
The hill behind the 3 arborvitae trees was how the first side looked before raking...nasty weeds and crab grass which I had weed whacked yesterday.

Still need to define an edge along the bottom but that goes quick with the groundhog tool...Finished areas will be perennials and mulch.
