knightrider955, that is seriously hard on your FEL. I have an old John Deere 3010 with a 148 loader on it, so roughly equivalent to your tractor and loader and I would never ever try that with it! The loader arms especially were never designed to take a shock load like that. You might want to rethink that practice before it presents you with an unexpected opportunity to do some grinding and welding!

Pulling in reverse leaves a lot on the table so to speak. All my tractors have R1's and just due to the tread pattern they will pull 50% more going forward if not more.

Didnt really think about that. Well maybe I should be a little nicer to my tractor. I dont want to break it.
