Wondering about the Land Pride Pulvarizer? Anyone out there with some experice using one of these. Have some land that needs to be leveled for mowing after it is replanted with grass.

Thanks for any comments about this type of attachement.

I am on my second LP pulverizer, this one is 7' wide. They do work great, I have put in a lot of yards with one. Vegitation will plug it up unless your wanting to remove it from the site. It will level and made a very good seed bed.

Has anyone ever used one of those DR Power graders on a yard instead of a driveway for establishing a seed bed. With the adjustable height they would seem like they would work well for loosening the top inch of soil or filling in low spots. Don't know what effect vegitation would have. Just a thought since you can pick a used one up pretty cheap sometimes.

Looks like a great multi-use piece of equipment... I take it you use one?

Paul - I've looked at a lot of arena drags and this does seem to be about the best. (I use a york rake that I removed every other tine on now. It works ok but leaves ridges and isn't aggresive enough). How much to the Tr3's go for in a 6foot (if you know?)

It was EXPENSIVE when I got mine...but it is BULLET-PROOF...:D
And it is truly a SWISS ARMY KNIFE king of tool...every month I come up with something else I use it for...:)
Not sure what the prices are now...because of steel pricing and increased freight costs...I know there is some flex in the sales price...because I got the price reduced and freight thrown in but that was years ago...

The other option is if they are at a farm/equine exhibition...they are negotiable so they don't have to ship units home...;)

As an aside on maintaining dressage arenas...I don't engage the scarifiers and just use the floating bar with the BLADE TEETH attachment and the rear finish blade and get a nice 2 inch deep surface that those upper level horses just love...:)

Make sure you pick up the RAIL BLADE if you are refurbing old indoor arenas...the rail blade will pull all that dirt away from the wall with a minimum of effort...if you are dealing with Western Games arenas...you may also need the RAIL BUSTER as well...
