pumping motor oil with a diesel transfer pump.

Anyone have any experience with pumping 15-40 motor oil thru a 12 volt fill rite diesel transfer pump? Thanks, Johnny

I have not tried that but sure wouldn't recommend it. Likely it will overheat the motor in short order and those pumps aren't cheap. A cheap alternative is a hand pump designed for moving oil.
