Since May I have been using an 07 TC30 New Holland to work around the horse stable. Friday my new Kioti was delivered - spent an hour dragging the arena and pushing some manure - got more done shoveling sh*t in half an hour than I used to get done in several hours! Saturday I spent another 3 hours on the new tractor - got everything done that used to take me all day! Nice to be able to just drop the bucket and push - not having to take 25% of the bucket width and hope not to bog down. Very happy with my new tractor, although I did get it stuck in my first 10 minutes. I quickly figured out the tractor wasn't in 4WD (old tractor has not been in 2WD mode since I got it).

Friday I also picked up a 3pt post auger and 2 bits (4" and 9") for $280 - love Facebook marketplace! Tuesday they are delivering my 60" brush hog (used from the tractor place, but at a different location).

60" cutter?
Little narrow for you machine is it not? You may not like how the field will look unless you plan on making overlap passes.
Sixty inches will not cover your tire tracks. BUt you may have different plan we are unaware of.
At any rate congrats on the new machine. Certainly is fun getting more work done in a shorter time frame.

Yeah the 60" is a bit narrow (width of the DK is 62") but I will be putting it on my old smaller TC30 - and the brush hog will be used for mowing fence lines and cutting down weeds in my 18 acre pasture. The smaller deck/tractor combo will make it easier to get closer to the fences. Only have 6 horses on 18 acres so there are weeds taller than me out there (I am 6'3"). I have a large 60" riding mower for mowing the yard/fence lines by the road. I wouldn't have minded a 72" brush hog but got this one for $400 as it was used - hard to beat for the price!
