I tipped your tractor back over onto its wheels. Where do I send the invoice?;):D

Nice tractor! You've lost a lot of clearance with the belly mower, but if that and snow removal are your main tasks, it will be perfect. Enjoy!

I was told there are four pins and pto quick disconnect to drop off the mower. I'm hoping its that easy. going to read the manual tonight on mower. So far so good. what a good size brush hog for the tractor? Is a post hole digger a wast of money for 3 point hitch? thanks

I pull a 6' BH with no issues through some very heavy greens / grass and brush. Once stuff is knocked down this tractor could do bigger... but for the initial cuttings - I think the 6' pushes it to the edge.
PHD's - generaly - use once implements unless you are always going to be errecting more and new fence... if you can get your hands on one cheap, go for it... otherwise either push the posts in with the loader in the spring when things are soggy or really invest and get a back hoe on the tractor - and you will find far more use than a PHD :)

Steve, the TC45DA can handle a 5' to 7' rotary cutter with ease. It just depends on your application. I have a 5' cutter so I can back it between trees and I know if the tractor fits between two trees, the mower behind is not going to hang up. I would say the 6' cutter is most common on the TC45DA, but some with a lot of clear area would prefer the 7' cutter. You could go to 8' on that tractor, but hold your breath on price, especially since many 8' cutters have two gearboxes and two blades. They are excellent because they are much shorter than a single blade design, but they are expensive.

If you think you want a posthole digger, why not rent one first and find out what they are like. You can buy a nice PHD with a downpressure kit and they are definitely nice, but how many holes do you plan to dig? Could your rent a skidsteer with a front auger? I own half-shares in a PHD with one of my neighbors and it works out well. We both saved money and we don't do enough hole drilling to keep that auger busy. It just hangs unused most of the time.

My posthole digger was a hand me down from my father and I've used it a little every year for the past 3 years as I'm in no hurry to finish all my fences and buidlings. It convenient to have around. If you can find a used one, that's the way I would go if you have a series of jobs needing it over the next few years and when you are done, paint it and sell it or put it in your will.

Steve - congrats on the tractor. I wish I had seen this post a little sooner, as I might have been able to talk you out of that mid-mount mower for a rear 3 pt. Just a quick word of advise, if you can take the mower off and back on on a flat concrete pad or shop floor it will be much easier. I had a DX33 (same as the TC33) with the 84" rear discharge mower. It was a real PITA to take on and off. A level pad will make the job much easier.

Nice tractor! I have HP envy...mine is only a lil ole TC29.

You should get a Markem toothbar for that bucket. I put mine on 2 years ago and it hasn't been off since.

i do have a garage where i'm keeping it with a cement floor. the bucket can lift the front a good 15-18" off the ground so i figure i can just pull it out one side. i have a tooth bucket off my cat skid loader i can change it to with the quick disconnects. thanks for the comments and suggestions!!
