</font><font color="blue" class="small">( I have to sand my points, then wipe them off with a cloth and electrical cleaner, if I let my tractor sit for a few weeks without being ran. Once started though, it runs great. )</font>

Man, there's only been a couple of times when my dad and I had to clean the points on the 640 to get it started. We always just popped the distributor cap/rotor/& other cover off, put a business card in between the points, cranked for a few secoinds, replaced everything and fired it up. You guys getting rust/oil on your points?

Suprisingly, in the absence of a real points hone.. a piece of paper makes a great micro-abrasive for points cleaning. I'll bet that business card did too.


( I live in florida... every day is sunday.. except some of our sunshine is in liquid form! )
