Spring is here, so can start putting the new tractor to work. Getting ready to put down some crabgrass preemergent. Got sprayer late last year as well, only used it once before to make sure it worked. First time using it to put chemical down as well. All went well, most challenging part is trying to figure out how to calibrate sprayer and then use that to determine correct ratio of chemical.

Maybe where you live! It has been snowing on and off here for two weeks, and long-term forecast shows the same for the next 10 days!

I really like the tractor. I know it is the same horsepower as my previous 7320, but it's a totally different tractor. It just feels so much bigger. I know part of it is the cab is larger, but also the redesigned loader, and fender mud guards make it feel so much wider as well. The transmission also works a lot different. My 7320 I could feather the clutch and move forward/backwards very slowly like when pulling into my garage, but I am finding the 7340 to not have that much control, lots of jerky forward or backwards when trying to use the clutch to just creep in a direction. There are even some buttons to control this, a "comfort clutch" and a drive vs work mode, but so far, I can't tell any combination making much of a difference. I am also really liking the electronic control 3pt. Having buttons on each fender to raise and lower is coming in very handy, also finding the finer control the electronic control is giving very nice. The one downsize of the electronic 3pt is when it comes to lowering. The tractor has to be running to lower, before, I could just use the rear handle and lower an implement even when tractor was off. I mentioned how much faster the hydraulics are in another post. In particular using my grapple the thing flings open and close; I have gotten a flow restrictor that I need to get installed to see if that helps.

It sounds like it's really quite an upgrade. These new generation machines are extremely impressive.
