I have a 2165 mower and i had pto clutch issues. It would just disenguage and after pressing in the switch and pulling it back out, it would run for a minute or so but still quit. I bought a switch and this did not fix it. I replaced the relay. Local mower shop suggested to adjust the clutch. I did, but that is not the problem. I checked voltage @ the clutch connector, and i have voltage, but no ground. Ground is the blue wire and it runs directly to the switch. The way it is wired, i do not understand how the relay is involved, or even if it is. As i turn on the ignition switch, the relay is closed. It does not matter if the pto switch is on or off. I guess the biggest issue is the lack of a schematic. If i could see a wire schematic, I think i can figure it out. To me it looks as though the prevoius owner bypassed the relay, but i cannt be sure. Does anyone have a cub contact that can give me wire schematics? Thanks to all. Mike
