I have a TN70A and it looks like the Lift O Matic was never used (still covered with the black 'if it doesn't move paint it' goop). Also, I read the Operator's Manual (OP)...

When I push down the locking lever are the pair of nuts on the end of the locking lever supposed to also rotate to unlock the cam? This does not happen, the lever seems to slide (yes, I am using considerable strength to do this) between the nuts-- but then, I've never seen how to adjust one of these so I don't know what is supposed to happen. I would have expected the nuts to rotate with the locking lever. The end result is that the lever is in what I presume is the 'unlocked' position (about 90* from initial) but the cam is immobile-- indeed the cam has never moved as evidenced by the black goop being unbroken.

The Lift O Matic controls seem to work with a BH OK, but I don't know if using LOM w/o the cam stop is a good idea-- there isn't any comment I've seen in the OP recommending leaving the rear remotes in neutral either.

The TN70a is a new fangled gadget for me, previous tractor was a beat up gear compact MF1040 that now has a wore out frozen clutch (mostly done in by the previous owner, only so far babying will go when the clutch is 95% gone).
