I had a quick attach installed on my TC45 FEL at New Holland so I can get a QA snow blade. Will this fit all QA blades e.g. BobCat? Or am I limited to a New Holland blade.
Also the dealer told me that a 7.5 ft blade is the correct sizs for this tractor. Does this sound right to you?
Looking for any suggestions from you guys. I appreciate the experienced advice I always get in here.

The QA attachment carrier is universal so all other brand equipment should fit. I am running an 8' front blade on my TC40D and it works great for the most part. If we get wet heavy snow, I have to take smaller bites, but for the lighter snow falls I like having the extra clearing capacity. The one tip I could give you for the heavier snow is to keep the blade a couple of inches off the ground. This will keep the weight on the front tires and allow better control. Without the weight on the tires, the front end tends to get pushed around easily.

Thanks Wolfpack
I live in No Va so I know we have less snow than you. Is any blade better than another? Is there any real advantage to a hydro angle? Is it worth the extra price and how do I control it if there is. I am guessing I run a linr from the back of the tractor or something.

Do a search on FEL snow plow and you will find lots of information. Many of us have adapted truck plows to a QA plate, but there are lots of ready-made plows out there.

I would highly recommend powered angle control. On my TC40DA, I ran hoses from the rear remote and that has worked well.

Good luck!

The universal quick attach is SS(Skid-steer),John Deere for one has their own form of QA.Lots of reading on FEL attached snow plows here.Mine is and eight ft.(former truck plow) with the third function for angle. My tractor weighs 7,000# total. This with the seven ft.rear blade works great for me.

I have a Frontier front blade 7' that attaches to my FEL. I use a rubber contact point to my driveway that I cut from a barn mat. Also very heavy which provides good traction.
