I have a QA loader on my tractor. I tried to hookup to a friends set of forks and found that my lower pins will not lineup with any of the two rectangular holes in the lower lip. We measured the center spacing on our two tractors and found mine to be 29" and his to be 33"

I was under the assumption that all QA could interchange, I was wrong.

What is the normal or average pin spacing?

I am not near my tractor so cannot measure but there is clearly a range of acceptable lower pin distances. On a typical QA mounting plate there are usually two sets of holes on each side. One is a longer rectangular opening about five or six inches long on the outside and then a smaller square hole about two inches in size medially.

Where are the pins from the fork mount hitting the plate? Can you move the forks left or right to line up even if midline doesn't work?

This unit has two equal rectangular holes on each side. I tried to shift frame to one side to try to get at least one pin in, but no luck. If I owned it, I would burn a new hole, but it is not mine.
