Has anybody bought, used or seen first hand the QA set up fabricated by ashwood inc. Apparently, they have manufactured a quick attach plate that pins onto the FEL arms and this plate allows for quick attaching to the OEM bucket and their set of forks. The video on youtube YouTube - Kubota BX series Versa-Daptor / Quick-tach system. is compelling. The system looks neat. Just wondering if anybody has had experience with it .

There is no website.....just an email. I've corresponded with Tony Ashwood of Ashwood industries in Minnesota (not sure if he is the guyi n the video). He's answered a bunch of my questions. Price is quoted as $1K for the whole set up (forks, quick adapter plate that pins onto the FEL arms and the pins that stay on your bucket. What I like about it is that there is no tampering with the OEM bucket. Interested to get opinions of the set up from the smart bunch of people on TBN.

I would like to see them I bought the steel to make a QA for my 23 but buying it is a better option in my opinion but I need pictures.

If you look at the youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ox1BjqVMi4, it is a pretty good closeup. I'm not sure that you get the full curl back on the bucket but it does not look very restricted. I'm thinking about taking the plunge but would like to hear from someone who's dealt with Ashwood industries before. No complaints listed with BBB according to my internet search.

Kubota has a similar setup for some of there bigger loaders and they seem to work real well. seems they have tried to keep the weight down but still keep it as strong as possible. Plus you dont have to worry about someone with a SSQA borrowing them and bending them up lifting to much.

The system looks decent enough. I'd call 1K about what I'd expect for the QA plus forks. I'd like to see someone maket a QA using the mini skidsteer standard. I've seen a bunch of mini buckets that look appropriately sized for a BX.
