I really enjoyed doing my FEL attached snow plow conversion a few years back. The only change from the pictures below is that I did end up switching the cylinders so that the hydraulic lines are now on top. Hope these help.

Very nice job and thanks. Are you running hydro lines from your BH on a kit because it looks like mine? What size plow 6'?

There seems to be a lot of framing under the fel instead of in front. Why? Also what size plow is that? Very nice looking. Thanks

The hydro lines are part of a kit, but not from a BH. They were added by the dealer I bought the tractor from along with a pair of rear hydros. The front ones are controlled by a toggle on the FEL controller. Works real nice for angling the snowplow blade left and right. The plow is a 7' Meyer.

The A-frame that came with the plow was a bit too long, so I cut it off just behind where the angle cylinders mount and then added a cross bar for stability. It also gave me a place to mount a couple of extra skid shoes to protect the under carriage. I'm really glad I did that since you can't always be sure you have the FEL curl set just right. This adds protection for the cylinders as well as the A-frame and asphalt I plow.

Again, the plow is a 7' Meyer.

Make sure you post some pics of your project and let me know if there's anything else you need. I'm happy to post some more pictures if you think it would be helpful.

With my plow it hangs from the chain so i can float the plow without putting the loader to float. So all the pushing is at the very back under the loader arms. The rest is bracing. With the ridgid welded solid plow you have no float unless you put the loader to float, then you have too much weight on the plow and probably some steering and digging in problems if on unfrozen ground. My meyers is a 7 1/2 foot.
